I am using an iPad, why is it not enabled for my proctored exam?

Proctoring videos from hand-held iPads can be problematic because the video is constantly in motion and often obstructed by hands and arms.

This can also result in a frustrating experience for students because of repeated warnings that Respondus Monitor is unable to see their face.

Some instructors only permit students to use iPads if they have an external keyboard and they position the iPad vertically on a stand. Because of these unique considerations, instructors must enable the use of iPads on a per-exam basis, so contact your instructor.
