Login Assistance

Use Colleague to help assist students with logging into their MYNC or email.

MYNC Login

1. Check to see what a student's username is in Colleague. (Verify who they are before sharing their username with them!) You can find a students' username in the profile section at the top of any Colleague screen where it lists their email (usually a student's username is firstname.lastname, but if the student has a unique username it can be identified this way).

2. Open a new browser and see if you can login with their username and default password.

  • If so, ask them what they are using and troubleshoot from there. (It will most likely be a user error, or they have an unique username that they were not aware of.) Do not release information to the student - for example, when they tell you the password they are using and the last four numbers of their social security do not match up with the last four numbers in their student account in Colleague, do not give out the social listed in Colleague.
  • If not, you can have the student call the Contact Center so they can reset their password, or ask the student to click "Forgot Password" if you don't have access to reset Single-Sign On passwords.

Email Login

2. Open a new browser and pull up www.office.com. Click Login and see if you can login with their email and default password.

    • If their error is that they are not receiving their code to get access to their account because of incorrect phone number or email on file, ask Jerry White or James Rich to reset their verification credentials.
